What is a photo-sculpture?
A photo-silhouette is another name for a photograph
cutout, stand-up photo or photo-statue. When completed,
it becomes a unique, "one of a kind", hand-crafted
sculpture. It is made by cutting away the photographic
background leaving the main subject. The cutout is then
attached to a plastic base. Photo-silhouettes samples
can be found by viewing our products area on this web
site. Photo-silhouettes are also a permanent, less expensive,
alternative to ordinary framing.
What are photo-sculptures made of?
Our photo-silhouettes are constructed from ordinary photographs,
mounted onto 1/8" extruded PVC plastic, cutting away
the background and placing the main subject's onto a plastic
base. We do not use hard acrylics.
When will I receive my order?
Our goal is to process all orders and ship within ten
business days. Please include your email address with
your order so that we can notify you once it has been
received and shipped.
What size photograph should I send?
The main subject of the selected photograph will determine
how tall or wide your photo-silhouette will be. All sizes
are acceptable and make wonderful lifelike treasures.
The photo-silhouette finished product is typically the
actual size of the image(s) in the photograph.
Do you return the original photograph?
The photo you send to us is used to create the photo-silhouette
and is not returned unless you specifically request that
we make a copy. We can make a reproduction of your original
to produce the photo-silhouette and return the original
with your order. There is an additional charge for the
photo reproduction. If you have questions or need assistance
